Zoe

Zoe began volunteering with Seal Research Trust in 2024, taking part in coastal seal surveys—and soon persuaded her husband to join in too. In 2025, she joined the team as a Digital Ranger, with a key focus on designing and building the new SRT website.

Zoe is also a member of the SRT Strategy and Events team and has designed a range of fundraising t-shirts and sweatshirts to support the charity’s work.

Alongside her role at SRT, Zoe works as Communications & Administration Officer for the Wildlife Safe (WiSe) Scheme, the UK’s national training scheme promoting safe, responsible and sustainable interactions with marine wildlife.

Zoe also runs Chough Rock, a children’s storybook company, with her husband. Together they have written and illustrated four nature-inspired books that encourage children to connect with and care for their local wildlife. Their first book, Choughs & Chums is available in the SRT shop.

When she’s not working, Zoe enjoys wildlife watching and exploring the outdoors with her young family.
